Membership Categories & Dues
Massachusetts Domiciled For-Hire Carriers are motor carriers with corporate headquarters in Massachusetts. The dues are calculated based on the company’s gross revenue. Please see the dues computation below.
Private Carriers operate dedicated fleets within the general course of their business and/or vehicles transporting their own goods. Truck leasing companies and contract carriage fleets are also included in this category. The dues are calculated based on the number of vehicles reported to the DOT. Please see the dues computation below.
Non-Domiciled Carriers are those whose corporate headquarters are outside Massachusetts. The dues are calculated based on miles traveled in Massachusetts. Please see the dues computation below.
Allied/Vendor Memberships are equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service providers to the industry. Dues for an Associate/VendorMembership is $675.
Association & Partner Memberships are available to all trade associations and companies whose members have a vested interest in commercial transportation issues related to their businesses’ operations. The Association Partner membership level has access to all of TAM’s resources, education and lobbying activities. The dues for an Association Partner membership is $1,000.
Police/Fire/Educational Institution/Municipality Memberships are available. Dues for a PFEM membership are $500.
Owner/Operator Memberships are available to all professional truckers. Becoming an Owner/Operator member of TAM allows you to be directly involved/informed about all the various trucking activities/issues in our State and, more importantly, to join your voice with others big and small. A TAM membership also gives you access to meaningful resources and information to help you run your business successfully, as well as exclusive benefit programs and member savings on products and services from partner companies. Dues for an Owner/Operator is $125.
