Vehicle Registration Services
Your one-stop registration service for commercial vehicles.
Take the hassle out of registering your commercial trucks with the RMV. Our registration services will make the process faster, easier and painless. Our Vehicle Registration Service Department will do it all for you.
We are a provider of motor vehicle registration services and our trained staff can process commercial transactions. If you are a carrier and need to register your commercial vehicles in Massachusetts, TAM can assist you with making the process as easy as possible so you can focus your time on running your company.

Industry Advocacy
TAM has been instrumental many times over in projects that have created safer roadways and improved vital infrastructure to benefit our members interests. We advocate for smart solutions and always focus on our memberships core values. We work with our lobbying team to create effective campaigns, educate and rally lawmakers, policymakers and stakeholders to craft sound and effective public policy.
We are committed to finding solutions to complex issues and work tirelessly to ensure our industry voice is heard.
Quarterly Safety Roundtables
Subject matters for our safety roundtable events include:
- CSA scores
- Enforcement issues
- Injury prevention
- Additional safety issues related to the trucking industry.
These events are free to members and the topics are always evolving and relevant.
Leadership Conferences
Network and learn from transportation agency officials at our general membership meetings, held in the spring and fall.
Our spring general membership meeting is focused on educating and information our members on matters such as legislative updates, trucking economics, enforcement practices, state and federal initiatives, and more.
At our fall general membership meeting we award and recognize our scholarship winners and our Truck Driving Champions who have recently returned from the national competition. We also use this event as a social gathering for our members and potential members.
At our fall conference – every other year – we introduce our newly elected Board of Directors and host a live and silent auction which benefits the association’s scholarship. This meeting is a great place to meet and network with your fellow industry professionals and become more involved in the TAM community.
Member Job Board & Social Media
TAM uses social media websites and social networks to promote the trucking industry in Massachusetts as well as career opportunities at our member companies.
TAM’s Social media marketing provides our members ways to reach potential employees and promotes their businesses as the same time. If you are active in social media already our efforts supplement yours , if you are not you will be with a TAM membership.
Financial Helplines for Truckers
Financial Helplines for Truckers is managed by CareConnect USA, a public benefit organization. Network providers have met robust standards of integrity and service. These standards include length of service, strong reputation, history of best practices, systems to ensure confidentiality, and consumer-friendly policies.
Callers can feel confident that the people behind the helplines will be friendly, knowledgeable, and will place caller concerns as their top priority.
Services available include helplines concerning bankruptcy, mortgage payments, student loans and tax relief.

Compliance Consulting and Compliance Information
The staff at the Trucking Association of Massachusetts are available to answer member questions about regulatory compliance requirements and to help ensure each company’s full compliance with all rules and laws.
If we don’t know the answer we’ll point you int the right direction. Members may contact us with your question and we’ll research the answer.
Golf Outing
Each year, TAM hosts an annual golf outing and raffle. All proceeds raised from our raffle benefit our Political Action Committee (PAC). The PAC funds allows TAM staff and leadership to attend political events on behalf of the industry.
Our 2020 tournament will be at Charter Oaks Country Club.
Truck Driving Championship
The American Trucking Association (ATA) sponsors the Massachusetts Truck Driving Championship.
Typically held in July, this event determines which drivers will represent Massachusetts in the national championships sponsored by the ATA.
Members receive notification and details about the Massachusetts championship via our email newsletter, and directed to our website for additional information including registration instructions.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company
Goodyear has set up special program for TAM members. When purchasing Goodyear tires through any authorized Goodyear tire dealer, members who reference our national account number will receive discounted pricing on tires used for on-highway applications, off-highway, construction, and more.
When the volume of tires purchased through this program increases, the discounts will increase. This is the benefit of a strong purchasing plan – small businesses combine their buying power to access bulk discounts that would not normally be available.
