Mass and Committal for Ed Rodricks

April 30 @ 10:00 am EDT - 11:30 am EDT

Edward Rodricks

The service date and time has been scheduled for Ed Rodricks’ funeral.

Edward Louis Rodricks, of East Bridgewater, died peacefully on December 30, 2021. Eddie was the loving son of the late Joseph and Rose (Popolo) Rodricks. He was happily married to Valerie (Will) Rodricks for 40 years and together raised their four children in East Bridgewater.

He was deeply devoted to his family and enjoyed golf, tending his vegetable garden, good food and a perfectly crafted Negroni or Manhattan (depending on the season). He was an amazing cook, aficionado of old movies, and possessed wits and a work ethic unmatched. He proudly served as chairman of the executive board of directors with the Trucking Association of Massachusetts (TAM). He developed the TAM Chairman’s Award, which launched this year, to cultivate greater non-profit participation in the transportation industry.

Eddie had great pride in his work on the Greater Boston Food Bank’s Food Industry Council and of his time spent serving on the East Bridgewater School Committee and the East Bridgewater Middle School Building Addition Committee.

Devoted father of Sarah R. Stuart and her husband Matthew of Boston, Joseph D. Rodricks and his wife Sandra Butler of East Bridgewater, Olivia M. Rodricks and Emily A. Rodricks both of East Bridgewater. Proud “Grampy” of Lucy, Samuel, and Eleanor. Brother of Dr. Joseph V. Rodricks of VA, Roseann Flavin of Quincy, and Daniel J. Rodricks of MD. Also survived by many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and colleagues.
