FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse Conference Nov. 14

If you’re an FMCSA-regulated commercial carrier with CDL drivers, you won’t want to miss ARCpoint Lab’s conference on the drug & alcohol clearinghouse. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 14 at the Crown Plaza in Natick.

This event is relevant to companies with commercial vehicles more than 26,000 GVW or those who carry 16 or more occupants.  If you fall into either of these categories, you are required to have a drug & alcohol testing program. The new FMCSA rules require positive results be entered into the clearinghouse database.

Pricing for this event is $50, but current Trucking Association of Massachusetts members can register for $40. Keep in mind space is limited for this event, so we suggest you register early.

Event Information

As of Jan. 6, 2020, FMCSA-regulated carriers will be required to report positive drug or alcohol results to the clearinghouse, as well as query the clearinghouse as part of every pre-employment driver check. The clearinghouse is a major change to your business, and this conference will help you stay in compliance.

The panel of experts will cover:

  • What is the clearinghouse and what information will it contain
  • When and how do employers need to register
  • How are employers required to use the clearinghouse
  • How to update your drug and alcohol policy

ARCpoint Lab will also cover “Best Hiring Practices for CDL Drivers.”
