The third Commercial Vehicle Safety Summit will be held this October. The summit’s topic will be Preventing Truck & Bus Crashes Using Advanced Technologies for the Eastern Service Center.

This summit will focus on the ways emerging and existing technologies – such as collision mitigation systems, stability control, telematics, virtual weigh stations and much more – can be harnessed to prevent crashes and improve safety, compliance and business.

This Summit will be held at the Graduate Providence (formerly the Biltmore Hotel) in Rhode Island, just 10 miles from the T.F. Green Airport (PVD). More details will be forthcoming.

The event is organized by UMassSafe Traffic Research Program and the Commercial Safety Technical Assistance Center.
